Manage your NordLocker Profile and Settings on Android

Introduction

This guide will explain how to use the NordLocker Profile section on Android devices.

Here's what to do

How to access the Profile section

1. Open the NordLocker application, log in to your NordAccount, and unlock the application.
2. Tap on the "Profile" button, located at the bottom-right corner.
3. After completing these steps, you will see the following information:
   • Nord Account section.
   • Storage space.
   • Settings section.
   • Passwords section.
   • Help section.
   • "Lock Cloud" button - by clicking on it, you will manually lock your Cloud.

Nord Account section

Within the Nord Account section, you will see:

• Your email address - by tapping on it, you will be redirected to your Nord Account profile.
• Other Nord Products - here you will see other Nord Products that we recommend using.
• "Log out of Nord Account" button - tap on it to log out of your Nord Account.

Storage space

Here you will be able to see your current storage usage and storage space.

In addition, there's an "Upgrade storage" button - tap on it to be redirected to NordLocker's pricing page, where you will be able to select and purchase a new deal.

Settings section

Here you will be able to see:

• "Locks automatically" feature - it locks the NordLocker application after a set period. Check out our guide on how to automatically lock your Cloud.
• "Multi-factor authentication" feature - tap on it to set up the MFA on your Nord Account. We recommend checking out our guide to get more information regarding it.
• "Use biometrics to unlock" feature - enable it with your Cloud Password to unlock the NordLocker application with your fingerprint.  We recommend checking out our guide on setting it up on your Android device.
• "Block screenshots in-app" feature - by default enabled to prevent screenshots and screen recordings from capturing content inside the NordLocker application.
• "Download using mobile data" feature - by enabling it, you will allow your device to use mobile data to download files.
  
  Note: Additional charges from your data provider may incur.
   
• Theme - you can select NordLocker's theme to be: Light, Dark, or reflect the device’s default theme setting.   

Passwords section

This section displays:

• "Change Cloud password" button - by tapping on it, you will be able to change your Cloud password.
• "Reset Cloud Recovery key" button - tap on it to change your Cloud Recovery key. 

Help section

This is where you can see these buttons:

• "Visit Help Center" - tap it to open our Help Center or contact customer service if you have any questions related to the NordLocker service.
• "Download activity logs" - by tapping on it, you will be able to download the application logs. 
• "Terms & Conditions" - after tapping on it, you will be redirected to Nord Account's general Terms of Service, where you will be able to view the NordLocker additional terms as well.
• "Privacy Policy" - tap on it to check out the Nord Account's general Privacy Policy and NordLocker Privacy Notice.
