Your files are encrypted on your device before they are uploaded to the NordLocker Cloud. No one except you can access the files unless you give other people access through our secure sharing options.

What is Cloud storage
NordLockeri is an encrypted Cloud storage with enhanced security and privacy. Encrypted files are stored on the Cloud servers - allowing you to access them from any device, anywhere, using your Cloud password.
NordLocker can help you protect your data in multiple scenarios, such as unauthorized access, hardware malfunction, or ransomware attack.
Protect and back up your important files by uploading them to NordLocker private Cloud storage. Only you will be able to access and decrypt them using your unique Cloud Password.
NordLocker's encryption
Why encrypt files at all? Your devices contain a lot of sensitive data. It could contain photos of passports and IDs, scanned copies of legal documents, medical and tax information, personal notes, pictures, videos, and more.
With NordLocker, your files are protected by the world’s most advanced cryptography ciphers: Argon2, AES256, ECC (with XChaCha20, EdDSA, and Poly1305), and others. If you lost your device and someone tried to access it, your files would stay protected by NordLocker's encryption and would be available to you in the Cloud.
Sharing with NordLocker also ensures your protection. Thanks to public-key cryptography, sharing files with others is safe because your password and encryption keys are never exposed.
Getting started with NordLocker
To start using NordLocker as a new user, follow the steps below:
- Set up a NordLocker account using our guide.
- Access the NordLocker Web Access or install one of our applications (Windows, Android, iOS).
- Log in using your Nord Account and unlock your Cloud. If you have not set up a password, you will be prompted to do so.
- Afterward, you will be able to upload files to your Locker by selecting the "+ Add " button.
