How to create a NordLocker account

Introduction

NordLocker is a user-friendly, private end-to-end file encryption tool available for Windows, Android, and iOS devices. This guide will explain how to create a NordLocker account, set it up, and log in to your NordLocker Cloud.

Here's what to do

1. Open the NordLocker Web Access and click on the "Create new account" button.
2. Alternatively, open the NordLocker application on your desktop or mobile device and select the "Create new account" button.
   
   Note: If you use other Nord services - NordVPN or NordPass, it means that you already have a Nord Account, and you can simply log in with your existing credentials instead of creating a new one.
    
3. Enter your email address and select the "Continue" button. Otherwise, sign up using your Google or Apple account.
4. If you choose to sign up with an email address, a 6-digit verification code will be sent to your inbox. Enter this code to verify your email address.
5. Next, enter a strong password and select the "Create password" button.
6. After creating your Nord Account, or logging in with your already existing Nord Account, you will be redirected to the NordLocker Cloud password creation page.
7. Create your Cloud password and select the "Continue" button. This password will be used to protect your encrypted files stored in NordLocker's Cloud.
8. Save your Cloud Recovery Key, which will be used to access files if you ever forget your Cloud password, and select the "Continue" button.
9. Afterward, you will be able to access the NordLocker Cloud and use our service.
