How to change your NordLocker Recovery Key on Web Access

Introduction

This guide will explain how to change your NordLocker Recovery key using Web Access.

Here's what to do

1. Visit the NordLocker sign-in page, enter your password, and click on the "Unlock" button.
2. Click on the "Profile" button, located in the upper-left corner, and select the "Passwords & Help" option.
3. Click on the "Reset" button, located next to the "Reset Cloud Recovery Key".
4. Enter your Cloud password and select the "Continue" option.
5. Accept the agreement by checking the tick-box.
6. Save or copy your new recovery key and click on the "Update Recovery Key" button.

Additional Tips

• Due to NordLocker’s end-to-end encryption, we never store your Cloud password or recovery key. If you have forgotten your Cloud password and lost your recovery key, unfortunately, there is no way to access your encrypted files, as NordLocker never stores your data. In this case, we suggest deleting your account and creating a new one to continue using NordLocker.
• We recommend saving and storing your passwords in a trusted password manager. You can save both your password and your recovery key with NordPass password manager for free.
