How to enable biometric to unlock NordLocker

Enable biometrics on iOS app

 

Note: If biometrics are unavailable on your NordLocker mobile application, make sure you are running the latest version. To check if there are any updates and update the application, search for ‘nordlocker’ in the App Store.

 

1. Log in to NordLocker iOS application.
   
   
2. Tap Profile at the bottom and open Settings.
   
   
3. Tap Use biometrics to log in. Make sure biometrics are enabled to be used in the NordLocker application in your device settings.
   
4. Enter your NordLockery Key and select Confirm.
   
5. Confirm biometrics.

Enable biometrics on Android app

 

Note: If biometrics are unavailable on your NordLocker mobile application, make sure you are running the latest version. To check if there are any updates and update the application, search for ‘nordlocker’ in the Google Play Store.

 

1. Log in to NordLocker Android application.
   
   
2. Open your profile.
   
3. Select Settings.
   
4. Tap Use biometrics to log in.
   
5. Enter your NordLockery Key and select Confirm.
   
6. Confirm biometrics.

Enable biometrics on NordLocker Web Access

 

You can use biometrics to unlock NordLocker Web Access if you have biometric login enabled on your NordLocker mobile application. 

 

You can check if biometric authentication is enabled for Web Acces by following the steps below:

 

1. Log in to NordLocker Web Access.
   
   
2. Click on your profile and open Settings.
   
3. Look for Biometrics under the Security section.
   
   

• If biometrics are disabled:
  

You will not be allowed to use biometrics on Web Access if they are not enabled on the mobile application. Go to your NordLocker mobile application and follow the instructions for Android or iOS applications to enable biometrics.

If biometrics on your mobile application are enabled and you still cannot use them on Web Access, please try to re-enable them on your NordLocker mobile application. Additionally, try to re-login to your NordLocker account on Web Access. 

 

• If biometrics are enabled:
  

No extra steps are needed. You can use biometrics to unlock NordLocker Web Access now!

 

Use biometrics to unlock NordLocker Web Access 

 

Below are detailed instructions on how to use biometrics to unlock Web Access:

 

Important: You need to be logged in to your NordLocker mobile application with Nord Account (NordLocker app can be locked, but you can't be be logged out). 

 

1. Go to NordLocker Web Access and log in to your Nord Account.
   
   
2. Click Unlock with biometrics. If this button is inactive even though you have biometrics enabled on your mobile application, please repeat the steps described next to the biometrics settings with the status "Disabled" and refresh the page.
   
   This will generate your Security code.
   
3. The code will be sent to your mobile device. Check if the codes match and tap Confirm. 
   
   Note: If the code is not sent to your mobile device make sure you are logged in to the NordLocker mobile application with Nord Account (NordLocker application can be locked, but you need to be logged in to your account).
   
4. Confirm your biometrics to unlock NordLocker Web Access. These steps will also unlock your NordLocker mobile application.
